The precise regulation of Yen1 is essential to preserve the spacing of meiotic crossovers. Our joint effort with the labs of Joao Matos and Jennifer Fung finally sees the light in the latest issue of Developmental Cell. Congratulations to all the authors for this great paper, which provides new insight into the dynamics of recombination intermediates and the control of crossover formation in meiosis.
Great success for our PhD students Raquel and Javier in their respective talks at the VI Encontro da Mocidade-Ciencias da Saúde-USC and the I Annual CIMUS Workshop, as both brought home the prize for best oral presentation. Congratulations! CiMUS SUMMER FELLOWSHIPS: II Edition
